While I jokingly misquote, I sincerely strive to live up to the hopes and expectations I have for the sitters I hire to look after my two pups. I've lived with pets my whole life and cared for some truly unbelievable critters at the Chattanooga zoo. I've applied my degree in biology and certification in pet CPR into a business that goes beyond the alternative options of boarding and kennel care. After offering both boarding and out-call services, I have decided to put my energy into caring for dogs in their own environment. This seems to be the healthiest option for your pets, reducing their levels of stress and anxiety. I treat every dog like it were my own. I treat your property with the boundaries, respect, and care I would want someone to treat mine. I am flexible with my routine and willing to make special accommodations depending on your pets needs.

Hi, my name is Emily! I grew up with a love for animals while living on a farm most of my life. I was always excited to help my mom care for the Golden Retriever dogs we fostered when they crossed our path from a Golden Retriever rescue group in my hometown, while sometimes adopting one or two. I also enjoyed volunteering at my local animal shelter taking care of feeding and walking the dogs. I currently have a Yorkie who of course gets everything she wants and a Corgi mix who loves running and going on outside adventures!

I started sitting for CPC in December of 2020 and volunteering at the Humane Society in February of 2021. I've done the “Trap Neuter Release” as well as “Dealing with difficult dogs” workshops. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but mostly "used" dogs. My partner, Pete says I control my crazy dog lady tendencies by taking care of others' dogs and volunteering.

Lowest resting heart rate and ability to initiate play creatively makes me a pack leader and intuitive interspecies communicator with dogs. A cat person since the early 90's, I am quite familiar with the wily ways of the feline. My passions outside of pets are music, honey bees, gardening, and carpentry.
